‘Squiggles’ was in our show string until she was 8yo before she switched to competing in dressage. An unfortunate injury ended her promising career in the dressage world but she is proving to be a good producer. She was a reserve champion at the IJF as a 4yo and came up through the YJC program. She competed in the Midwest Finals as a 5yo and qualified to compete again as a 6 and 7yo. She was a careful jumper with lots of scope and incredible adjustability competing up to 1.40m. She is a great mover and earned good scores in the dressage ring to 3rd level. She has the pedigree to produce top horses for any discipline. Though registered Holsteiner, she has lots of French influence. Her sire Chardonay is a direct son of the incomparable Cor de la Bryere and his dam was by Landgraf I, two of the most successful sires in the history of the Holsteiner horse. Chardonay was a successful competitor in the upper levels of jumpers and dressage before his retirement. On the dam’s side Squiggles traces top and bottom to the very important sire Furioso II. Furioso was known to produce horses who were very successful in jumping up to the Olympic level and who became great sires themselves. But, for dressage, maybe the most famous from Wildflower’s pedigree was Welt As, who sired the Olympic gold medalist Bonfire.
She is an easy breeder with no vices. Foals easily and is an excellent mother. Sale price can include one dose to Something Gained.
