‘Nina’ has been one of our most prolific and best producers. She is responsible for an approved stallion, several premium mares and some of our top competition horses. We imported her as a 2yo and she had given us her first foal, Something Gained, by the time she was a 4yo. Nina’s sire, Acorado, was an up and coming jumper in Germany before his untimely death. He was by the highly successful Acord II who also was the winner of his stallion performance testing in Germany. Her sire’s side also traces back to Corrado I, by Cor de la Bryere, who has sired multiple international level winners in jumping. Corrado himself was a multiple times winner and top 3 finisher at some of the biggest shows in Europe during his show career. He also earned a perfect 10 for his jumping both free and under saddle at his stallion approvals. On the dam’s side she traces to Caletto I who helped win a team bronze at the European Championships and was also a top producer of international horses. Also on the dam’s side is Silvester by Silbersee. Silbersee was an international competitor who was brought in as an improvement sire to the Holsteiners. Nina herself is a solidly built mare with good conformation and three good and correct gaits. She is in the Main Mare book of both the AHHA and the ISR/Old-NA. True to her pedigree, she passes on her jump and lots of scope to her foals. They are forward thinking horses who love to jump and are also very good movers.
